A semi-complete adventure game. All it has is six stats (Level, Experience, Health, Power, Armor, and Speed), three weapons (Sword, Lance, and Knife), three monsters (Dragon, Golem, and Harpy), three actions (Attack, Parry, and Feint). There's one map, which refreshes every time you beat all the Foes on it. Sufficent Experience raises your Level, and restores your Health. The battle system is like Rock-Paper-Scissors: Sword raises Power, which makes Attacking do more damage; Lance, Armor, Parrying; and Knife, Speed, Feinting. Dragons have high Power but low Armor, so they Attack often; Golems, high Armor, low Speed, Parry; Harpies, high Speed, low Power, Feint.
My first RPG...in fact, my first real game I ever made. Very short, but what do you expect after just math, science, and lunch?
Version 0.8 Fixed many bugs. In this RPG, you are a freshman who hates high school. So, in order to avoid high school, you will try to graduate in one year through massive studying/cramming sessions. However, you still have to waste time to train up strength in order to fight bullies.

Basically, you start off after being exiled from Earth and you are trying to recapture the solar system. Currently there is no save game feature, but I'm pretty sure everything else works, you can meddle with it all you want as it is a BASIC program.

This is version 2.0 of my Animal Crossing game. The new things include 20 items I've put into the game, you can see the inside of your house, you can buy things at the shop, it has the date, the town members say more, and my all time favorite-you can walk around! Certain acres run slower than the others, but that's the only problem. I may add more items later, but in the meantime, you've got to try this game!
Animal Crossing is a fully graphical Beta version of the original Nintendo one. It is a full game by itself, but it does not have the full features of THE Animal Crossing, so it is a beta version. You can alter your town however you like by planting and chopping down trees, planting or picking up flowers, and digging holes. You can also go fishing, pick stuff off the tree, sell whatever you like, and buy lots of items. It also keeps track of the time and has one time based event, which is that some of the fruit grows back every day. This is NOT related to the other animal crossing on this website. In order to correctly install this program, you must read the Readme, otherwise you will probably be lost. Hope you have fun!

Aric's Bipolar Maze of Death is a classic maze game with a twist! You have to fight monsters while trying to escape the maze. You can attack, use magic, heal, or flee from battles. This game uses the basic RPG engine GENGINE. It has decent graphics, and okay programming. Feel free to modify it, but just include my name in your file. Good luck!
Assasinate President Pi (as in 3.14)
This is the finest version of this game and the last version. The first version was just a few menus but this version is made with getkey and uses the graph window for the display. The display is A LOT nicer and very beautiful compared to the first one! This one is also noticeably harder so look out! This is a demo for the upcoming RPG Awakening. It has fully graphical screens, using text sprites. So far, there are only 4 screens to walk through plus a switch. It also has a real-time system for health drain in which an in-game clock is constantly ticking. You need to eat and drink every now and then or face further penalties, although at this point there is no way to get more food or water. Enjoy!

Hey this is an update to clanlord. I actully wanted to put a pic in here and talk about the upcoming clanlord. The new clanlord will be a small game.. I'm planing on making a new game every month or so... each one a small mision, to keep the fans going, kinad like levels. you will be able to keep your character though. Check out this game to see what the battle scene will be like. Just goto "walk around" in the in game menu.. you will get to fight. This game is pretty cool. But the next game will have an actual guy who walks around the screen. I found a simple and space efficiant way to make the man not run into stuff. Every object will be a Sprite, this makes the whole space thing good. and makes every screen easy to make and code out and make it like a regular game. Wait, it is.. and will be a regular game! Basically Coexist is your standard life simulation game. You live in a house the size of 6 screens, you have to eat, work, buy furniture, operate doors, enjoy yourself and stay alive in general. The only twist is that you live with another character, an Artificial intelligence, He can also work, buy stuff, eat, have fun and make a mess. This character lives in the same house as you and is available for conversations (In English). Essentially this game is a demonstration of the ti-83+ ability to make a realistic AI.

This is one of my best rpg's! You can grow levels, fight new monsters, gain more experience, and it's not as easy as my other games. By Devin Branch This is a short, yet insanely funny RPG written in basic for the TI 83+, 84+. It contains some screen shots, but it is mostly text-based. Written during the long boredom that is known as math class, this program provides a sharp, random, and sarcastic humor that I haven't found since Monty Python. Its only downfall is that it is short, but that won't last (plan on updates or sequals to increase the insanity!!!) WARNING: contains some language (this shouldn't be a problem, except to the most delicate and easily offended) Please read the README.

Inspired by Lufia, Quest 64, Dragon Quest, Illusiat and Mana Force series, Darkblasters is a role-playing game meant to showcase pure TI-BASIC graphical capabilities while trying to keep speed as fast as possible. It features over 340 rooms to explore, NPC's, some items and magic spells, many monsters and sprite-based graphics. No ASM/Axe/Grammer lib were used, in order to ensure full compatibility with 15 MHz z80 calculator models that lacks official ASM support.
For use with the TI 84+SE only. This game is nothing like what you've played before. This is not just a simple 'shoot-the-duck-yeah-now-what' game. It is a RPG exposition game where you compete in 5 levels, untill you claim the trophy. Everything depends on where you choose to hunt, the weather, and the temp. Walk around to find the perfekt spot, but becareful not to run out of time, or to drive the ducks out of the area. This is by far the most descriptive duck hunt game ever, with upgrades in your rifle and your satchle. You can even buy duck calls if you feel you need the extra boost. This is a major graphical overhaul for Dungeon!, a graphical RPG that I wrote in 2000 in pure BASIC (some programmers try to be proud of this, I acknowledge it was only because I didn't know assembly). In Dungeon!, you are cast into a graphical, tile-based dungeon and your only hope to escape is to fight endless numbers of rats to gain HP. You can also fight peasants in the dungeon for three cool treasures that can make the game a lot easier. When you've become very powerful, you can challenge the knight which guards the exit. Anyways, it's definitely not the best TI-83 (Plus) RPG ever made (Joltima and Dying Eyes are light years ahead) but it's a nice little diversion because it takes up several hours, saves your progress, and has some pretty nice BASIC graphics with large, detailed tiles. I urge you to try it. Instructions: 1. Download it. 2. Unzip it. 3. If you already have Dungeon! on your calculator, just send THETILES.83P to your calculator, replacing the old version. 4. If you don't have Dungeon! on your calculator, send all five files to your calculator. 5. Run DUNGEON0.

The name isn't so cool but the game is. It's graphical RPG that takes a long time to beat without using all of your memory. It may have a few bugs so a new version may come out in a while.
This is a patch for version 1.1 only, as versions above 1.1 have no trouble with the high-score bug, and versions below 1.1 have no high-scores to be bugged. Small program, run it once, and if an error happens, then don't worry. That means the patch is already in effect and there's no need for anything to be done.
Currently for Epic 2, under develpoment, there are 60 screenshots, some of which you can see on my website. There are 8 different weapons. There are 11 1/2 pages (MSWord, in 10 pt font) of script, written by myself and the APG staff. Steve, the hero, is not an S any longer. He is a fully animated little man, with moving feet and he swings his sword. There are 8 fully animated towns and 49 animated screens, each one is one calc screen. There are now 22 different types of enemies. Most importantly, THE GAME IS SO LARGE, NEARLY 200KB, THAT IT WILL BE RELEASED AS 5 SEQUENTIAL GAMES. By this, I mean that you will need to play through 5 parts of Epic 2 to beat the entire thing.

Well, actually, it's not, because That's what Lite is: It has only basic features, while the full version has all the features. Don't worry, though: the only things you're missing on the Lite version is the introduction, all that talking crup whatever, which is explained in the full version introduction anyways, and 2-player features, such as live battles. This game is now functional with 10 different spells to learn, WEAPONS, and items to buy. 2 different Monster Rooms and a save place. I made this using the Omnicalc sprite function so you MUST have this to play. This game is very graphical, and if you email me I will give you cheats and help. There are three different races to choose from (elves, humans, and undead) and 3 different jobs in each of those races (I highly reccommend a Berserker or a Paladin). This game is not for the sane, and presents two hours of insanely random gameplay, mostly based on foreheads. It's fairly small, taking up only about 14K installed. It's bacteria free (Thankfully) and is possibly the most epic game since... well, there's never been a game this epic before. Updates from 1.5: Added an additional save slot, allowing you to play two games at once, without overwriting the others. I added it for my benefit, as my friends always steal my calc and play this game, deleting my files. Have fun! Illusiat is a series of JRPG's for the TI-82 Plus, TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus series of calculators, with various ports or remakes for other calculators included. The original games came out in 2001-2002 and the rest came out in the two decades that followed. Many of the late series games contains features or elaborate gameplay not seen before on calculators. Some games are only available in French, though.

If you really think of JBDE, it isn't an Engine. But I just wanted to try to make a game in the graphic style like the first part of GTA. And that in PURE (!) Basic. No ASM Libs, Omnicalc or other stuff, just good old TI-83+ BASIC. So this program should just show that is possible to write e.g. a RPG in normal Basic. Of course "normal" Basic games can't be as fast as some Basic games e.g. of the great Basic Writer Kevin Ouéllet (Sorry if I wrote your name wrong...) who works with ASM Libs (except of his first works, like "Illusiat"...(long time ago, huh? ;). But it's playable. And this is NOT a graphic style which contains only Letters on the Home Screen to draw the landscape. I know that this isn't a revolution, but I want to show younger Coders how you can do it. So it is more less a tut.

In the 1st game, you control Yam, who must collect 4 orbs to access the final dungeon then beat the final foe to save the kingdom. Some dungeons are optional, there is a lot of magic and a non-linear story. In the second game, you must revive the 8 orbs to save the Mana World. This game features even more magic spells, which can now be upgraded via leveling up, power up spells, more detailled maps and many more enemies. The first game was updated in 2013 with an English version which also includes bug fixes.

Several years in the making, (because I am lazy) this RPG provides some cool graphics and animations all using BASIC. The main value of it being in BASIC is that all you other programers out there can see what I did to make the animations. Also, the story line is good and it adds to the Matrix story from the movies. Basically you go around as Mr. Bill, and do stuff. Mainly, you die. Whether its at a Metallica concert, Disney World, or even your own bathroom, Mr. Bill dies!! Each situation is pretty funny, so I'd say this is worth downloading. Look for the sequel (Mr. Bill Goes To Europe), which I promise will be better (and longer).

This is one of my older RPGs that isn't part of any other series I made and it's only in French. However, if you know French, the gameplay is very similar in style to the late Illusiat games, so if you liked Illusiat series, then you should enjoy this game too. A two player turn based game utilizing sprites. Each player controls a country with even resources, such as money and nukes and spies and ABMs and buildings. There are nine building types in the game, each with a different purpose. The object is to destroy the enemy command bunker. Your enemy's territory remains hidden until you send spies to recon. The spies are also good for sending to destroy enemy missle sites and silos, as well as factories, and whatever structure you want to sabotage. The structures include:Nuke silos, ABM sites, warehouses, factories, spy centers, command bunkers, radar stations, cities and farms. The main object of the game is to research better weaponry through your cities and upgrade your spy skill, as well as launching nukes at your opponent, to destroy his structures.

This is a demo of a new RPG called RAGOL. You can explore town, fight monsters, level up, defeat a boss, and more! The graphics are great for basic. The full version will have better graphics by using additional programs however. Included are two different versions on the game. This is an update that fixes minor bugs, and has screeshots (hopefully). This game is based off of a real time fighting program I made when bored and decided to make into a full rpg game. You must fight people to gain money so you can upgrade your weapons, buy health, etc. You can save and load, take out loans, fight the police, gamble on fights that are controlled completely by calc AI, and there are 7 random events that may help or harm you. After defeating the two bosses, ther is a cheat mode that you get acess to. This was created on a silver edition and my run slowly on normal 83's. Enjoy.

Reuben Quest is a game that is quite hard to classify due to it's variety. I like to say it's a puzzle game because you have to explore to find items to advance in your quest and sometimes you have to solve riddles. Sometimes, you may have to explore at the same place for a while to figure out that something actually do something :). However, I also like to say that it's a RPG too because as you wander around you have to fight powerful creatures to get strong enough to face more powerful foes and you can interact with NPCs (non-player characters) to get clues. So basicaly it's should be classified as a puzzle-RPG :). This might satisfy people regardless of if they like puzzle or role-playing game! Also, exploring Reuben world and fighting all the awesome looking creatures roaming around will satisfy your eyes a lot because the entire game is in grayscale!!!!!!!!! With the help of Omnicalc and other ASM libraries, this game will change TI-BASIC language forever. All you need is a TI-83+ Silver Edition, a TI-84+ or a TI-84+ Silver Edition calculator (for speed a regular 83+ isn't recommended) with all your RAM and 60 KB of archive memory then you just have to sit down to enter a world filled with mysteries, challenges and revolutionnary graphics. The sequel includes everything that the original game had to offer like the flickerless grayscale graphics and the many secrets plus new stuff like more complex puzzles, more monsters, many plot twists, viewing inside houses, cutting plants, pushing blocks, destroy blocks and more! There are a ton of RISK games out there. Most are poorly designed. I have tried all of them on Ticalc.org. To me my version if the best. It is text based and has menues. Basically, it is the original version of RISK without tactical moving, cards, and some kinks. However, you should download it just for the intro (at least I think so).

After almost a year of programming, my runescape game is now online! There are many, many weapons, spells, armor, and monsters to train on. There are also multiple minigames to play, including bounty hunter and pking. READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PLAYING. Even if you are an advanced runescape player, READ before playing, since the game is changed a bit. There are also stats that can be leveled up to 99. My new game, runescapex, will come out later.
This is an updated version of realms of time version 1.2. now you dont have to worry about setting 0 to A everytime you start. It also now has animations when you use spells. And you can buy potions to carry around so you can heal yourself in battle, causing less trips to the healer. This game takes you to the beginning journeys of the main character for the Final Fantasy series (I know in FF7 it is Squall, but I don't know if he is the same one in all the games). You were relaxing at your house, enjoying the summer... ..."when suddenly the ground started shaking! After the quake was over, you walked outside, only to see a strange tower you have never seen before! You went to find the elder of the village. Once you told him the story, he gave you a sword, saying, 'This sword will hurt anything evil. Go and fulfill your destiny.' So your journey begins..." This game is an update to the 83 version I made long ago. It incorporates such features as a save game, lowercase text, and some optimization. Please refer to readme for more information. Beastmaker was the first demo (see BSTDT). Now this is the second demo. The Seven Towers of Arcadia is, as the name suggests, a cross between the game Skies of Arcadia and The Seventh Tower series. It is the first BASIC RPG I've ever seen with party-based battles. It has pretty good graphics.

Build a graphical empire to train, build, upgrade, research, and enihilate your enemy. Dont think your so great: the comp is vicious. Sometimes it will be a nub, or sumtimes all pro. its all luck. Many graphical upgrades from version 1.3 of terran version. this is a whole new game with more upgrades, more units (obviously diff considering its protoss), and better attack screen. now you get to actually see what your guys look like during a battle. gives hours of enjoyment that is never the same twice. This upgrade deals with minute play changes and enhanced AI. The AI now can act between different strategies.

In this game, you and another person (or the calc if you are hermit-ish) each summon an elemental to do battle. I nerfed the speed basing slightly (fast elementals means more stat bonuses) and made the attacks have more meaning (heavy attacks do more damage by themselves than others, etc.)

This game uses ZFLASH which allows it to defy the limits of memory on the calculator, so i was able to have more detailed programming than any other basic game out there. He rests behind the gold door, which requires the gold key to open, and the only noise you can make out from the inside are the faint sounds of rap music. If you're low on RAM you can easily install the app, however the programs version runs about 30% faster during load times because of app compression. This game is the product of 6 months of work, so I hope you enjoy it! (Written in basic, so it does not require Mirage OS or anything like that. Just move the files over using TI-Connect)

This package contains the entire The Reign of Legends RPG classic series for the TI-83 Plus Silver Edition and TI-84 Plus calculators. However, every game was repackaged in 2013 to make installing much easier than it used to be (no more groups). The Reign of Legends RPGs usually occur in future or fantasy worlds and 3 on 3 turn-based battles. The first game in the series, released in March 2003, is set in a not-so-distant future (which is actually the past now, as of this writing :P). Most of the world population was decimated in wars against clones created by an emperor that reigns over the world. You must stop him. This game features two world maps: The overworld and underworld, along with some side quests. The Reign of Legends 2 (July 2003) is the most complex of all 3 released ROL games, featuring 9 playable characters (7 being permanent). It is possible to switch around the party like in some Final Fantasy games, there are more options, more plot twists and the game has the largest storyline of all. It is incredibly hard, though. In The Reign of Legends 3 (June 2004), the game switches from ASCII art to actual graphical sprites, due to high demand, but at the cost of speed due to outdated ASM libs available in 2004. Although this game is shorter and fewer options than ROL2, it still features a long storyline, plot twists and best of all, you can travel in time like in Chrono Trigger!

"3 Weeks..." is a turn-based, RPG. You are an unfortunate guy who has to endure 3 straight weeks of homework and tests. You can choose to do your homework/study, or goof off instead. The game keeps track of your money and GPA. The cumlative GPA for homework and tests determines at the end of the game which "prize" you win.

Warrior Xtreme is a basic rpg game where you get upgrades, get stronger and fight your way through the game. The battle screen play is very good although gameplay is very dull. Look out for new multiplayer version.

Yet again I have put in more time into building this game and now here it is a way more advanced wizard program. New features include a map with different towns to go to and really bad multiplayer. Since I wrote the update in May, I can't remember if you can keep your game from v1.1, but anyhoo have fun! I have included xLIB which is required to run this game. Here it is! For all of you MMORPG players who enjoy playing with the calculator, I have finally descided to create one of the most well known games in the world. I have created the World of Warcraft for the Ti-83+/84+. It was bugging me that no one made it yet, but here it is, in all of its Basic format glory. Make your way through a total of 11 maps (so far) and level up to your desire. The enemies are really easy to beat, making the game more fun. The Legend of Zelda: Dark Link Quest is my first *successful* attempt at Action-RPG programming. In 2002, I started making one, but my BASIC skills were not high enough to make such a game. Now, after more than 3 years of experience in TI-BASIC programming, I finally did it: a TRUE Zelda is finally available on your TI-83+!!!!!! It's in BASIC, so it's slow but it keeps most Zelda features, from the Hookshot item to the classic smooth scrolling when Link reaches the edge of the screen!!! It also features 180 rooms to explore, 3 swords from "Ocarina of Time", lot of side quests (heart containers and empty bottles), many GFX never seen before on the home screen and more!
The next version of Zelda battledome has arrived. I was very sorry about the previous version of Zelda because the 2 player text based battle had a bug in it that has now been fixed up with this new version. And now in 2.1 there is a new STORYMODE which you all can enjoy. Also when you fight monsters in the field your stats can raise very high so I hav made it so that you cannot battle monsters in each field once your stats are at a certain level and you are forced to play storymode. Well enjoy this game and I shall work on either the 4 player function or the 2 on 2 action battle in the meantime.

Another game from the random guy who brought you Summoner's Duel, this is a game about a little leopard gecko who has struck out on their own. Unlike Summoner's Duel, this one has maps, weapons and armor, and bosses, and other fun things! It even includes a bonus game! The new version is a happy little map improvement. Now it doesn't clear the screen whenever you move.
